Red rock spire taken earlier this year at the Red Rocks NP, Colorado, US.
Taken on the way back from spending a couple weeks snowboarding in Summit Country. I so wanted to go to the Garden of the Gods down at Colorado Springs while I was there, but wrapped to have taken the detour to this spot..For any of you Coloradians out there, you are so lucky to live in great part of the world…..hmm, must go back!!!
Both prints available in a borderless version for cards. Please just bubblemail me for any requests

stunningly beautiful
What contrasts!! Awesome scene.
Beautiful image Robert. They are lucky to live in that area. I’ve only been through there once many years ago, but I do remember the vibrant color of the rocks and the scenery.
Great contrasts. Love the red
amazing – you sure go to some fantastic places – you have to check out the thumbnail of this though – its looks like a person in the sea – Awesome work as always
Awesome place indeed, and you probably have the most awesome shot ever taken of it. Love the way the rock’s capped lightly with snow, and there is so much compositional interest from the cotton-like snow on the branches in the foreground all the way to the crisp blue sky. What a delightful winter shot!
wow this is beautiful !
