At the end of a long and hot day these horses will head for water and sometimes stop to rest before finding their bedding down location. I am amazed at the way these groups are constantly one the move and at odds with each other…. I have now spent a few weeks with them over the past 2 years and each day is different and in many ways unique. These creatures are not wildlife, they are not domestic animals — they manage to exist in the middle and I am fascinated by their ways…. Some of my best days have been spent among the horse groups of the Utah west desert.
