What looks like a herd of wild horses running atop a butte is really a metal sculpture known as Wild Horses Monument (aka Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies), created by David Govedare. The sculpture can be seen from a number of viewpoints off Highway I-90 about 2 miles east of the Columbia River Bridge near Vantage, Kittitas County, WA.
