In the beginning, God took his His cosmic brush
And painted a marbled canvas of supernovas
And then a planet with swirls of life and evolution
And geography and history and language
And mythology and colour and belief
To illustrate possibility to the power of n

Life is an experiment, hypothesizing that
One day we might learn how to get along

But we’ll stick to the safety of our skin
Our creed, our tax bracket
Distribution begs to be answered
Allah, Buddha and Christ
Are changing the souls of 6 billion? Faith nods.

We try to unify in a pulse of good will
Homogenized hearts in a heterogenous world
