Trying to Win You Over
Will I ever hear your voice
Whisper love in my ear
Or will I stand alone
As you watch my tears
Why don’t you look into my eyes
My heart stares then starts to cry
Wonder floats in the air at night
Kissing all the ghosts of hate
Not trying to win the fight
Shot down in the ground
Will you ever turn around
Or keep your back, facing me
And the clock strikes never be
Tape me together
We’ll run off forever
And never come back alive
Save you from my life
Scattered hate all tied
Leaving the world for a better sky
