Image captured off a bus window during a heavy thunderstorm. I happened to have my camera with me and hesitated to take it out, but was glad I did.
The background shows a block of public housing apartments, which we call HDB flats, HDB being the government-run Housing and Development Board. Close to 90 percent of Singaporeans, myself included, live in such highrise apartments.
This was my submission for the Severe weather theme in JPG Magazine Issue #20, but then the the magazine got suspended and I don’t know what has become of it.
