Artist's Description

As you look through the microscope at the latest generation of artificial cells, you gawk in wonder as organelles emerge from smaller structures, then dissolve again once they’ve fulfilled their unknown purposes. Everything is in constant fluid motion. Parts of this “cellular machinery” looks almost clock-like, but you realize it must just be a whimsical affectation of the designers – gears large enough to see at this magnification would be much too large to be useful.

Created in Artmatic and modified in Adobe Photoshop.
