A Vampire's Fog

Nothing was visible within sight as the motorist journeyed down the highway; he pulled to the left just down the exit ramp. Fog surrounded the area, blanketing the forest within it but the owner of the Honda Accord had no idea what he just got himself in for.

“Jesus, I can’t see a thing. What have I got myself into? I get a phone call that something supernatural is happening and this comes my way”. The blond haired man said then heard a noise within the forest.
He looked to his left and noticed two cars were parked ahead of each other, both had their head lights on, which stood still on the side of the rood. Jerry turned the wheel to do a u turn; he stopped as soon his own lights made the other car visible. Getting out of his car he closed his car door, he called out trying to determind who was out there .
“Is everything all right?” he asked the owner.
Two men held shot guns within their hands as they approched him, not sure what was going on.
“Get the hell out of here, Stranger” the two faceless men said not willing to explain what was going on.
“Maybe I can help?” Jerry offered.
“Don’t think so” the man on the left said trying to get rid of the stranger which seemed aggravated.
“Spirits, werewolves, vampires or zombie problems” Jerry asked “or is it within this fog that kills”.
“How would you know about that stuff?” one of the men asked, Jerry smiled evilly “guns won’t work on any of them”. Jerry informed the two of them.
Both men turned away, Jerry waited them out hoping that they had forgotten about him.
“I must be getting tired, Hank. For a moment I thought I saw another car” Dale said then holstered the shot gun onto his shoulder. Puzzled why they were out here in the first place.
“Hank” Dale said again realizing that his friend didn’t reply to his question.
He turned around and saw nothing “Hank, I …” he bumped his leg against something he looked down. Noticing his dead friend, “Hank” his voice crocked as he then felt blood run down his chest, he looked with his eyes to see where his wound was. Instead of seeing the wound, a man’s head was seen. Fear engulfed him as he realized that the man that drove the car was a vampire.
Jerry lifted his head and smiled at him with his vampires face “thanks for the phone call, I needed to feed” then snapped the man’s neck then cut it clean off the body.
Moving to his car, he smiled as the moon light finally fell onto him. Blood stains were on his face, he wiped his face with a rag before he got into his car.
“Humans are so stupid” then gunned the engine not caring if anyone had heard the sound at all. He laughed as he drove away, Jerry knew that the police would investigate but it would only end up in a dead end investigation.
