Good bye to my friend...

It is with a very heavy heart that we have had to say Good Bye to our beloved Dobie called Tzen.
He damaged his spine after slipping on wet grass (while chasing something) and the damage was too severe to repair.

Tzen was almost 8 years old, a proper big Doberman from a very good pedigree. From the moment he came into our lives he made our world a much better place. He made us glow from the inside out with love and pride.

He came from Skegness but lived his whole life here in Cornwall. He loved the beaches and the moors, Helman Tor was a favourite spot to stand and stare out, like he was surveying his land…

He did lots of silly and funny things, like playing sneaky dog (creeping up so slowly behind us), doing an Elvis impression when he didn’t like the smell of something and running everywhere at 100mph. Once he ran straight into me so hard I did a complete somersault in the air before landing on my back with a thud, only to be jumped on by him! There are lots more precious memories we have, every day with him was special in one way or another.

There are so many good times to remember and we are lucky to have some wonderful images of him over the years.

We are glad that we were able to be with him when the time came, and at that moment he was pain free. Being able to talk, hug and comfort him while he drifted off was the hardest thing for us, but we did it for Tzen.

“Dogs are not our whole life but they make our lives whole.”

We miss you so much… x

Good bye to my friend...
