Artist's Description

2007

While painting this nude figure, a broadcast played through MPR that was suggesting the rising denial of WWII. With this overwhelming statement, I redirected the focus of my paintingg.

It was disappointing to think of this response despite the millions of lives threatened, brutalized and lost during Hitler’s reign. The incompleteness of the nude figure was left in association with the fading away of the history.
