Vintage Vehicles

Featuring another Vintage Vehicle from my Retro Art Factory collection.

I found this cheery 1940’s Chevy Truck about 8 years ago parked along the road in the tiny village of Madrid, New Mexico. It had a For Sale sign in the window and from a distance, its bright blue color matched the intensity of the southwest sky overhead. After taking a few photos from the other side of the road, I crossed to get a closer look. As I walked around the Chevy, I noticed something odd about the paint job. In hopes of sprucing up this ancient relic, someone had taken a paint brush to the exterior! The entire truck had been hand-painted with some type of acrylic paint! Yup, both the body AND original chrome grill had received the same painterly treatment! I could see brush strokes on the blue surface and paint chips on the white grill! Oh well – from a distance it was certainly a pretty vintage truck!

See all the great products featuring “Blue Truck 1940’s” in my Vintage Vehicles collection!
