Artist's Description

The Tannenberg Memorial, East Prussia, Germany – was erected and opened 1927.
A memorial to commemorate the fallen of WW1.
In 1934, Reichspresident Paul von Hndenburg was burried there.
1945, after the Russian advance, the memorial was partly destroyed by German troops, to leave no room, for Russian ravage.

Hindenburg and his wife are now buried in Marburg, Germany.
Today, the memorial can only be seen due some few remains.
