Artist's Description

Image of Virgina Woolf

Suffering from depression, Virginia Woolf committed suicide at the beginning of spring, 1941. She put on her overcoat, filled the pockets with stones, walked into the River Ouse and drowned herself.

To the Lighthouse is my favorite novel by Woolf and A Room of One’s Own is the work I return to most frequently.
