Hi, I hope you enjoy my travel images.

I am an amateur portrait and travel photographer.

I am currently based in Sydney, Australia.

All of my photographs have been taken with Canon digital SLRs and a variety of lenses. I use Aperture to catalogue my images and try to keep image post-processing to the minimum.

Image size confusion

Hi, / I have just confirmed that when I post images as RAW files direct from aperture that the image dimensions are approx 50% of original. I posted pilgrim 10 initially as a RAW file but was able to correct the dimensions by posting a JPEG version. / This explains why most of my images are available only as cards. / Does anyone have any understanding as to why this may occur? / PS If anyone woul…

RAW file size

Not being particularly computer minded i have noticed that many of the images i uploaded as unconverted RAW files from Aperture are approx 50% pixel dimensions. This means that even 10-12MP 5D images are only available as cards at present – will fix this asap. / David

My next trip

I will be returning to China, Tibet and Nepal next month on a four week photography trip.
