Artist's Description

I had intended to have a photo shoot at the beaches of Port Stephens today, but as I drove over Stockton Bridge I could see that the ocean was very choppy and the water was looking unusually dark (almost black) – not the best conditions to do the area justice with it’s magic blue water and stunning beaches.

So I changed my destination and explored the areas around Williamtown and Tomago instead. I found a nice little field with a small herd of Cows while driving along the road looking for photo opportunities. This cow was staring at me for a little while, trying to decide if I posed a threat. When it decided I wasn’t, it returned to a Cow’s favourite activity – eating! I think a Cow’s life would be so boring in a lot of ways.

The image was captured with a Canon 450D and a Standard Canon 55 – 250 mm lens set at full zoom.
