Number of views as of 13th March 2018 = 500.

St John’s Church, Moordown, Bournemouth, Dorset.

The building of the church began in 1873 and it was completed ready for consecration on April 14th 1874. The architect was G.E.Street, who was well known for his Church designs in Victorian times.

The last structural addition was the tower, added in 1923. It houses eight fixed bells, cast at a cost of £301.

Unusually, the orientation of the church is north-south, rather than east-west, with the tower at the southern end.

Date: 10th April 2008.
