Another shot from a visit to the wonderful Stourhead Gardens, in the county of Wiltshire, England, surely one of the finest landscaped gardens in the land.
This shot features the Palladian Bridge and the Pantheon Temple (across the lake in the distance).
The gardens were created by Henry Hoare II (1705–1785), known as Henry the Magnificent, who was a prosperous English banker (some things never change). At least his creation can now be enjoyed by all.
