Lady St. Mary Church, Wareham

The Grade 1 listed Lady St. Mary Church (in the town of Wareham, Dorset, England) is built in the Norman Gothic style, but its origins go back a few centuries earlier to Saxon times.
The church is the burial place of Beorhtric, the Saxon King of Wessex from AD 786 to 802.
The town of Wareham is much older still, with evidence of human settlement dating back 11,000 years or more.
