A rear view of the classic British sports car, the MGA.
Manufactured at MG’s Abingdon factory (near Oxford, England) between 1955 and 1962, over 100,000 MGAs were built, the vast majority (94%) of which were exported, the highest export percentage of any British car.
A red MGA played a starring role in the 1961 film Blue Hawaii with a supporting cast including Elvis Presley and Angela Lansbury. Elvis so liked the car that he bought it for himself and it can now be seen at Gracelands along with the rest of his car collection.
