The Miner

Abandoned the dingy soul rambles,
crouching, buckling under weight,
joints withering, capitulating to work,
focused on the outside,
which is seemingly ablaze.

The front disheveled by repitition,
the neverending beat of machinery.
Distroying the evidence, erasing the past,
to satisfy the contemporary.

Yet, no objection is articulated,
it is known their sparkle will pass,
Into another dawn.
Onto another heartbeat.
