Monday Musing's (5) onna Saturday ...

I am packing up the Jeep and taking a hiatus to a place called Birdsville (pop 120) and all being good will be back in time for the next muse.

Its been a wonderful week here again. Not so much for the features I have had but more for the journals i have read, commented on….then received personal responses on via BM.Brave people baring their soul not only though their work….but also through words.I have always believed in the silent majority and i am glad to see it alive an well here in the bubble !

On the surface I am not much of a networke’r.The more people I add to my watch list the more guilt i feel in not having the time to respond to their work.I had to take the “watch” feed off such is the prolific talent here. That doesn’t mean I dont look I can assure you that i am one of those in your stats that look but dont always comment.

What would be your perfect job ? I have to say for me although I am more of a water baby than a bushbaby but proud mum sandraros’s sons job comes very close ! What a way to spend your days ! And to boot he is a great photographer.!

Carcharodon carcharias – The Great White shark is my earliest definable moment of humility I can remember. When you are privileged to be in their presence all you know..and think you know is suddenly stripped bare by this awesome and majestic creature.I remember the face as it glided effortlessly towards the cage…its mouth front on a smile… a smile of I gripped the cage bars… This much maligned animal evokes fear like few others yet you have statistically more chance of coming to a gruesome death by a drunk driver which in some distorted perception of reality…seems acceptable to some society’s ! . Thank you John White (appropriate last name !) for showing the world this magnificent creature is such a detailed way…

I’ve just bought a macro lens .. its spring and subjects are crawling flying and sprouting out of the woodwork.Marleia Main’s talent and expertise in this genre simply astounds me…

One of the things I see in life a lot is the Yin and the Yang. I’ll give you an example..on another site I saw where a photographer said “Imagine what I could do with a real camera” he has a Nikon D70s.I should invite him to view what Sandee’s son does with the same camera … :)

Yin me Yang me !! Have fun out there
