Monday Musings 4

Recently I wrote a journal entry about the things we do to get a shot. And I like many people try to imagine the motivation and emotion behind getting the images I see here.its not just about the technicalities ..I love the story.“To get to him, I had to lunge into cattails and grasses by a pond (nevermind that I nearly fell in) and grab him and pull him out. Understandably, he wasn’t happy about this, and he let me know by biting me. Repeatedly. So I crouched on the ground with the snake in my one bloody hand and my camera in the other and took some photos” wrote ECGardner …. Steve Irwin would be proud of her !! Obviously the snake wasn’t venomous, most of those snakes reside here in Australia ( of the world’s top 25 venomous snakes…Australia has 24..I think) but what and amazing story its adds for me an immeasurable quality to this marvelous image that resulted from it ….

The beautiful mystical weedy sea dragon is a magical experience for any diver. Not quite a seahorse this beautiful creature is often hard to see … but MattTworkowski has captured it with amazing detail !

I often refer to mother nature as as mother.the provider of much of what we see portrayed here in such magnificent ways.kcranmer has increased my curiosity about mother 10 fold with this imaginative and inspiring manifestation of her….

This week Ive discovered that candid doesn’t mean funny and that if I was given the choice to live only 4 hours in each day it would be 2 at dawn…and 2 at dusk !
