Artist's Description

Taken from Ramsay Gardens (off the Mound) looking down past the National Gallery into Princes Street Gardens. This is the scene is what lights up Edinburgh each Christmas and stays in place from around the end of November to early January.

What is in the scene:

National Gallery, Princes Street Gardens, Ferris Wheel, Helter Skelter, Bouncy Dome and various other Lights around the Gardens.

Camera & Lens Details:

Canon EOS30D Lens 75-300mm

Shot in Raw on Manual Mode with a focal distance on the lens of 75mm

f32 for 13 seconds and ISO 100

Used a tripod and remote control.

Post Process:

Adobe CS3 – Levels, Curves, Saturation, Dodged, Sharpened then cropped to 7 ins x 10.5 ins

Genuine Fractals – Resized the image to measure 20 ins x 30 ins
