Books I have read recently

Scale 1-10 (10 being the best) — I think I will elaborate later.

- Animal Farm by George Orwell — 20 this book is AWESOME!

- One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey — 5 although it’s a good book. It made me terribly sad. I kind of wish I had not read it.

- The Alchemist (in Spanish) by Paulo Coelho — 10 what a lesson!

- The Shack – by WM. Paul Young — 10 (life changer) this book was not entertaining. However, it answered the question I’ve been asking all these years —
Q: What are we here for?
A: We are here to love and be loved. period.

-Edgar Cayce (Modern Prophet) Four Complete Books:
Edgar Cayce on:
1. Prophecy
2. Religion and Psychic Experience
3. Mysteries of the Mind
4. Mysteries of the Mind
(Reading in progress)

- The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde — 7 Very well written, but the ending felt rushed. It really ruined it for me.

-The old Man and The Sea by Ernest Hemingway — 10 What a beautiful book. I Feel it’s an internal dialogue of life, death, reflection, regret, hope and pure love.

-Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt — 10 What an AMAZING piece of work. I’m sorry I did not get to meet the author especially since he lived in NY and taught at Stuyvesant High School.

-Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
