Hi I'm Carolyn Raar. I'm an artist and illustrator living in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. My husband and I live up on a mesa with two 120 lb. Marrema Sheepdogs and a few visiting ravens and coyotes. I love gardening, hiking, and anything that gets me outdoors. I'm having fun getting to know (and draw!) all the interesting plants and animals that call this place home. My biggest surprise after moving to the high desert? - a tarantula coming up to my back porch to get a drink of water!
