Artist's Description

We met Johnny the Australian Shepherd during a brief stop at the beach on a drive through Salt River Canyon. His human, who was a bush pilot or some ridiculously manly thing, was preparing to go paddleboarding. Johnny was primarily interested in fetching a ball thrown repeatedly into the lake, and, upon seeing us, decided that we looked like more likely ball throwers than his distracted human. We played with Johnny for about 45 minutes. When the paddleboard was ready, Johnny hopped right on up and went gliding out into the water, although I suspect he would have played fetch until he fell asleep, given his druthers.
