Since Anna-Maria Jung was born in 1984 in Austria, fantastic stories have been a significant part of her life. She has produced various comics and illustrations for comic anthologies in Germany and Austria, published three stand-alone graphic novels and worked on four animated shorts, one of them in in New York City in cooperation with independent animator Bill Plympton. In 2009 she received the Fulbright scholarship and started studying a Master program in Illustration at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York and graduated in 2011.

She is currently living and working in Graz/Austria, producing illustrations for the editorial market, children’s books, graphic novels and apparel. An estimate of about 80 000 people own at least one of her designs on a shirt.

Her latest work included webcomics for dorkly.com, artwork for “50 years of Star Trek” for CBS, “Redshirts: Star Trek’s Little Book of Doom” for Insight Editions (2016), “The Most Dangerous Book: Archery” (2017) and “Turn This Book Into A Beehive” (2017) for Workman Publishing, and Lootcrate.
