A quick 5 Q&A with Louise Cooke and PLV! :D

Randomly I’m going to be selecting a Red Bubbler and giving them a quick 5 Q&A interogation!
The 2nd Red Bubbler to take on this challenge is Louise Cooke.
I’ve always been enamoured with the way Louise captures and presents her images and my absolute fav is the beautiful piece called
Journeys Through Windows of Opportunity

Ok, enough with the plesentries and on with the interogation!! :D

Name five people who have had an influence on your life (whether it be personal or artistic) and why?

1) My Parents – they can’t not! They steer the ship for the first few years.
2) Beth, my twin sis – wombmate, best friend, travel buddy, hilarious sister.
3) Peter Malcolm – kinesiologist. Taught me the link between mind and body.
4) Brian Simmonds – brilliant West Australian artist and drawing teacher. Helped me to develop visual awareness.
5) Andrew Davoll – Awesome West Australian photographer (see RB profile) who approaches his photography in the most creative way. Hugely inspiring.

Name five people you would like to have over for a dinner party and why… and also what you would cook for them?

1) Michael Hutchence – Talented, charismatic, wild, brilliant performer
2) Bob Marley – Spirited, soulful, legendary dude.
3) Johnny Depp – brillant, creative, intense and super gorgeous 
4) Beth – my twin, because she would love these guests too and I couldn’t leave her out.
5) A Medium – well a few of my guests have “passed on”, so I might need a little help!
Hmm, not big on cooking but…..
Table outside, warm night, plenty of glasses. Start with golden fried haloumi cheese, sprinkled with lemon, followed by Fish stew with Romesco sauce (prawns, scallops, etc), lots of bread, finish with my legendary pavlova with summer berries (splade compulsory).

Name five songs that changed your world… (if not songs then bands or singers)?

1) Johnson’s Aeroplane (Inxs) – Opening song of my first live concert, and there I stood spell-bound. The start of a life-long love of Inxs! 
2) Coming in from the Cold (Bob Marley) – My introduction to reggae …this song goes-off big time. To master the lyrics is one SWEET victory!
3) Khe San (Cold Chisel) – because for my generation it IS the pub national anthem…and at least we know the words to this one 
4) Up around the Bend (Creedence Clearwater Revival) – fell in love with CCR while travelling around Australia many moons ago. A great “on the road” song, and also No.1 on the charts the day I was born…hell yeah!
5) Land down under (Men at work) – it felt like the whole country was partying to this song in 1983 when Australia won the America’s cup. The vibe was unforgettable!

Describe yourself in five words…

Procrastinator, humour-loving, absent-minded, observant, loyal.

List 5 things about you that we would have never guessed…

Hmm, what you see is probably what you get, but on the trivial side –
1) hate perfume
2) slightly addictive nature
3) sky-dived from 10 000 feet
4) double jointed thumbs
5) habit of digging up a song for every situation.
