Again, you’re the man for location, location, location… superb work here, yet again… Love the perspective and placement of the model and you as the viewer… Love the stained floor and the pure black in the doorway in the distance. Big fan Darryl, great work!
It was an old butchers shop, shut down for about 5 years. The dust was an inch thick… it was like they just up and left one day. (The rats hadn’t left though). It was very hard to access once I found it, I had to pursuade them for permission for weeks. They were about to demolish, so this will be soon lost to time. I guess this makes the images even more unique. As to where… well, yep, I’d rather keep that mysterious. Keep you wanting more. :)

Thanks guys… it’s very rewarding hearing your comments.
Model and I had a lot of laughs at this location. It was a very fun shoot. Lots of tongue-in-cheek giggles at the old signs. – Darryl.
Darryl, you know i love your work, this is no exception, i love the expression in her face and the depth of field you’ve created….
Sounds like a great shoot – where was it?
He’ll never tell ;)

Keep up that mystery. Love it.
Another great image-now a real dare would be to repeat the image in a butcher’s shop that was open and trading!
Rasendyll: I think that wouldn’t have bothered the model at all. :)
