Artist's Description

On Day 8 (the last day of my trip, I passed through Zion National Park before heading back to Vegas.

Zion National Park is located in the Southwestern United States, near Springdale, Utah, and is Utah’s oldest national park.

Since I was approaching Zion NP from the east, the east side of the park is entered from the Zion–Mount Carmel Highway, which passes through the Zion–Mount Carmel Tunnel, which ends at Mount Carmel. One of the notable park features on this side is Checkerboard Mesa (photographed here) and the East Temple, which I never got a chance to see (due to time constraints).

There are many, many rivers, streams and canyons within Zion NP, all of which I never got a chance to see. I know one day I will be returning to the area and spending more time capturing its beauty.

Hope you like this image.
