Artist's Description

Today the world mourns the passing of one of the great music legends of the 70s. Chris Squire, of the progressive rock band Yes, passed away a couple of days ago on June 27, 2015 from an acute case of erythroid leukemia. He was a musician and a singer-songwriter, and best known as being the bassist and founding member of Yes, as well as being its main creative driving force since it was formed back in 1969 until the present.

For the entirety of the band’s existence, Chris was the band’s linchpin and in so many ways, he was the glue that held the band together all these years. Because of his phenomenal bass-playing prowess, he influenced countless bassists around the world, including many of today’s well-known artists.

May you rest in peace; and may your legendary music carry on forever.
