While walking through LeRoy Oaks Forest Preserve near St. Charles, Illinois, I came across this white daisy fleabane all alone on the side of the path. I decided to set up the camera and wait to see if anything would happen. I didn’t have to wait long when the flower was visited by a honeybee. I snapped off a few frames as the bee moved around the flower’s center. This is the image I liked the best.

I processed the raw file using Photomatix Pro 5 and Detail 3 from Topaz Labs to produce this hdr image.
