Artist's Description

This idea was suggested to me by Nathan Elliott (a harmonica player). I chose a variety of Hohner harmonicas we had at the shop including their “Blues Harp,” “Special 20,” “Marine Band,” and “Pro Harp.” It is painted with Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. It’s original size was 14″ × 10″.

8th Place Finisher in Collections Around The World challenge.
Featured in The Collector’s Corner in November 2009.
