Carnality

The sweltry -sweetness of carnality
I grip almost gently between my teeth
The electric charge of you and I to be
I hold almost loosely
With all belief and trust lying in our embrace
That ethereal embrace…

With your fascinating eyes you grip volition
And marionette my hands to your face
You drink from my soul until you have had your fill
We are a monsoon of blankets and melodies
We reach for the ends of eternity in the dim light of eve

Hands on hips
Sliding….
Gliding….
Like lightening electricities
Rounding luscious corners
Worshiping with hand-sight
Heat pressed heat….
Throat entwined with throat….
Ecstatic cries…
Unintelligible sounds and breath-taking shudders
Are felt and understood
Falling and rising like the tides

We wrap ourselves in a soft, moist embrace
It is familiar….home-like……
As we wash away any stains that have tarnished our souls
We encircle ourselves in a safe warmth
That constantly exudes a reassuring heat
As the cold fear of reality creeps in from the perimeter
Pulling…
Tearing…
Ripping at us from the outside world
Sneaking shadows…
Silently speaking conspiracies subliminally

In the dark oven I prepare to walk free from you
But I beg you…
Plead with you…
Let us embrace again just once more
Like children of Eden
Discovering the birth of sexuality
Touching …tasting….tantalizing …

Like a meal before a dawn’s execution
Let us devour the other with a deliberate slothfulness
Making each taste a lifetime memory on our lips
Filling our lungs to capacity with the others essence
As if the night’s shared exhalation is one of our last

The beginning of the end is evident in the light of morning
Two separate bodies…
Two individual souls…
Now lay side by side in the early sunlight
Though the physical distance between our bodies
Is only inches from the other
In my heart and soul a path of a thousand steps has been traveled

The only thing that remains is the subtle, lingering taste
From the forbidden fruit that was shared….

Artist's Description

remember that aching need that began to surface, just waiting to be fulfilled…..that raw, lustful, passion that is ignited because you get a teasing, little taste of the one you want to consume….to devour ……..no matter the cost…..
