Beauty

I was imprisoning beauty
From the tip of my brush
When YOU walked in

I was torturing beauty
From the strings of my lyre
When I saw YOU again

I was murdering beauty
In the pages of my romance
And saw YOU then….
Three times Beauty I saw
And not in any describable form
But, that of yourself
Outlined within the frame of my door

YOU are the Beauty divinity could not inspire
The song that quenches the Muse’s fire
The angles behold you and feel broken….
Used……
God did not tell them his only angel is YOU

Drawn for your eyes are the hues of the sages
Your movements is the music that inspires masses
Within YOU is the romance deftly printed on ancient pages
I thought that I had seen it….
I thought that I knew…
But I never knew Beauty
Until I knew YOU

Love has always said..
“Beauty comes in many forms”
But the only Beauty I truly know
Is that of YOU…
Outlined within the frame of my door
