Meandering aimlessly through this crazy thing we call life, we cannot really function without the advice of others. These people will offer their opinions, sage advice or anything they hold true to themselves and firmly believe that their words should be ‘gospel’ and held in awe

Always accept the advice of the salesperson ( a bit of pc correctness here), they have vast knowledge of what you desire. They are there for you, to assist in making a sound, non-judgemental decision. The colour, the smell of the interior, how fast it goes, how it sounds and all the ‘extras’ that can come with it, all add up to you not being pressured, taking your time in driving away with the ‘best vehicle that you will ever own’. Always take a friend, who is possibly been thinking of maybe, looking at vehicles, their advice, you should always rely on, their mindset should have a profound effect on you. Never, ever, let anyone with some mechanical knowledge go with you, they will only confuse with comments on safety, road worthiness, functions of the motor and many other things that concern the reliability of the vehicle. It is the colour, how fast it goes, the sound system. These are the important things.

Buying, selling or renting, whatever you are going to do, always … always … always rely on the agent. They will never depress you in highlighting the disadvantages but will always impress you with their vast knowledge. They won’t know much about the neighbours, but will know how close the local shopping centres are. They will be unsure of upcoming developments in the area that may influence your decision, but they will assure you that whatever your financial position is, they will have no trouble in arranging finance, through a ‘great friend of theirs’. Always have a friend assist you, someone who reads all the ‘house magazines’ , their tastes should be emulated. If on initial inspection your friend just screams with delight on kitchen cupboard knobs, or the colour of the tiles in the bathroom and says with all honesty ‘everyone will just love it’ … get out your pen, friends like this you can never have enough of.

The only advice you should accept is, the person you have asked for assistance, even if they are from the perfume counter or your grandparents.
Now I say grandparents, because they have the vast knowledge of fashion trends over the years. They have seen styles come and go, they know what true ‘classics’ are. They probably have most of them in their closets or wardrobes. Take notice of how they mix and match, colours with patterns, they are the true trendsetters. They know the value of buying quality and value for money, things that will last a lifetime, not just silly ‘fads’ that will come and go. Their tastes will return … they always do.

This can be dangerous territory. Always seek and listen to advice from friends, people at work, the cab driver, the guy you buy your milk from, your hairdresser or barber or maybe even a tradesmen. Their knowledge on love is all knowing. Find someone who has been in many ‘serious relationships’ or who develops ‘strong feelings’ constantly. They will have all the answers to your questions. They will only have your best interests at heart. Discount any friends that give you negative vibes on your selection, most times they are jealous and don’t wish to lose your friendship. Never rely on your own feelings of desire, this has been proven many a times to be suspect. Canvas your neighbourhood, read your star signs, runes and tarot readers are all excellent tools to be used, for those who wish to fall in love.

Keep close to you, friends who will tell you how wonderful you are. Will always be there to tell you what you should do. Tell you what you should desire, feel, listen too, read, wear. They will be the influence of your life. You will learn much from them, they always seem to be just glide through life, without any problems or worries. These are the friends that should emulate and copy, for then you too will glide through life. Your worries will be less, your life will be more worthwhile for having them as ‘friends’ …. forever ….
