During our trip to Costa Rica in 2010, we were amazed at all of the beautiful variety of colorful birds. I’ve searched for hours on the Internet looking for this bird and I believe it is a Rufous-tailed Hummingbird. That’s the closest that I can seem to find. If any of you can identify it as another species, please let me know. Whatever the case, he was absolutely gorgeous – just love his colors! There are over 325 species of Hummingbirds in the world and some have yet to be identified!
