The Rose Maiden

Held in the mists of time
Woven into the tapestry of dreams
I scatter the scent of the rose

Where memories stir
And the slumbering past awakens
I release the scent of the rose

For from an ancient world I come
Draped in the mystery of the soul
Where fragrance speaks as messenger

And so I infuse the air with my touch
My scent travelling through time and space
Weaving together myth and the moment

I open my heart and the air becomes laden
Breathe me in, smell my kiss
I who am the rose maiden
