The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the opening of the San Francisco Bay into the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of the US. It was completed in 1937, and connects the city of San Francisco to the northern land of Marin County. Before the bridge was built, the only way across to Marin County was by ferry.

Taken in October, 2009, from Baker Beach, southwest of the bridge. Baker Beach is a nude beach (not that there’s anything wrong with that). I found out quite by accident. I managed to get a few shots without nude swimmers in them.
