One of our dearly beloved clients is publishing a book on Ireland and wants the following Landscape format images by tomorrow. Yes, you read it correctly; by TOMORROW.

I have to say this is a prima facie case of Picture Library and Photographer Abuse. The book production process is long and drawn out, payment won’t come for months, and for them to demand images from us within 36 hours verges on exploitation. But because we want to make you some money, we have to swallow hard and do what we can.

We have 3,715 images of Ireland on the site already, so many of the pictures they’ve requested we’ll already have. We’ll be making 10 lightboxes for them, and you can help us by adding IRELAND01 or IRELAND04 to your keywords if you have an existing image that fits. No space between IRELAND and the numerals please.

If you have a great image of, say, a river or lake not listed here, they’d still like to see it. Add IRELAND03 to your keywords, and so on.

I won’t actually close this Picture Call till the New Year, because they will no doubt change their minds. Or something. But any images you can add the IRELANDXX keywords to by tomorrow will be a great help.
