I adopted dear tiny Boo from a city shelter several years ago. Animal control had picked him up off the streets…he was just skin and bones, filthy, and full of fleas. He wasn’t wearing a collar, and no one showed up to claim him.
Despite the cruel neglect he had obviously suffered, he is incredibly playful, very brave, and trusting. He is full of silly antics and has a comical personality that always seems to say, “Hey, look at me!!!”
By painting this teeny dog much bigger than life-size, I am trying to capture his cute, fearless, “big dog” attitude.
Since Boo is my beloved companion, my inspiration, and omnipresent muse….this painting is dedicated to him! Thanks Boo!
