Artist's Description

There are more uses for a cane syrup “cooking kettle” than boiling down sugar cane. So many of the old plantation homes use them for flower pots, garden deco, and as you can see in this shot-to catch rain water. This pot is located on the Rip Van Winkle garden grounds and side yard of the Jefferson House, Abbeville, Louisiana, USA. I used selective coloring to create my reflecting pool.

I love our new P510 Nikon Cool Pix!! Awesome little camera for the price!! Nikon you did it right again!!
