The ranch at Tippett, Nevada in Antelope Valley, is unoccupied but not abandoned. Cattle graze nearby, and a hayfield has been harvested there, this year.
The rock work comprising this old and sprawling sheep ranch is an absolute marvel!
This wall is not part of a building, but was a dam, forming a reservoir to hold water for the ranch. My mother’s parents worked on this ranch during shearing season, when she was a young girl.
