Phillip Overton began writing at the age of nine, about the same time that he fell in love with anything to do with trains. A prolific blogger and photographer, his railway reminiscing articles stem from riding trains and exploring railway lines along the entire east coast of Australia and New Zealand.

Witnessing the demise of many country train services and branch lines during the final years of government ownership led to a hobby of collecting railway memorabilia from around Australia, and from that came the creation of his own railway inspired artwork.

The author of four novels and numerous self-guided railway adventure eBooks, Phillip’s writing was nominated in 2015 for a Global eBook Award.
