Artist's Description

This is standing at the Saskatchewan River Crossing on hwy # 4
in south west Saskatchewan
Built around 1900 by Frank Goodwin
this housed the North West Mounted police
from 1905-1914
it is used today {after being restored ,and the porch was replaced}
by the provincial park at the Landing
parts have been restored approximately 18" walls
very strong built and looks warm
you don’t see many old stone houses these days
the hills in the background are the river breaks
this is a Saskatchewan Historical Site
Taken with Olympus E510 14-42 lens
