Artist's Description

Another of my Creative Paintings, this time of Lyme Regis, Dorset, where Mary Anning unearthed the first Plesiosaur, from the cliffs of the International Heritage Coast, where tourists flock to dig their own ammonite from the crumbling rock. The little harbour, which featured in the film of ‘The French Lieutenant’s Woman’, can only be used at High Tide, so that the local fishermen can only put to sea at about that time. Very hazardous, if the sea is running rough.
