Artist's Description

Prince Mihailo Monument was erected in 1882 at the main Republic Square in Belgrade, Serbia. It was to celebrate his most important political achievement, a complete expulsion of the Turks from Serbia.

Being in the heart of the city makes it one of the favourite meeting points for the locals, who often arrange them with phrases such as ‘let’s meet at the horse’.
