Artist's Description

February 2010 in Fife, Scotland was a bit cold but still gorgeous!

The British government body Ordnance Survey has created 1:50,000cm maps of the whole country. It used concrete blocks called Trigonometric Points, usually shortened to “Trig” points, as a base for surveying equipment to accurately measure heights, distances and directions between the different points. The end result is a set of maps that is a fantastic resource for climbers and hillwalkers (including me).
