On the Baja Penninsula in Mexico, there’s a small village called Magdalena, and each year there in the bay, many, many gray whales birth and swim in the warm waters with their calves before the 3,000 mile trek back to Alaska. Riding out in small pangas, you are right among them, and they are friendly show offs. This one brought herself out of the water right next to us to wink and swim along with us. Amazing!!
