Artist's Description

One very early morning while on safari in the Masai Mara in Kenya, Africa, we were treated to a long ride in a hot air balloon, observing animals from above. Before the launch, propane was used to fill the envelope with hot air for the flight. Being upside down in our basket, the shot of the opposite balloon looked like this. (prior to launch, each passenger gets into their little cubby hole space in the basket on their backs, facing upwards….as the air fills the balloon and lift begins, the basket is gently righted and off you go!)
